Dane Johnson war auf dem Camino und wollte von seinen Auftritten einen Film produzieren.
Jetzt endlich - 2018 - ist dieser Film fertig.
If you are receiving this email, you are one of a humbling number of people who have expressed interest in a project I started working on a decade ago. The challenge was to walk the famed Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain with my cello, performing and recording Bach's Six Suites for Solo Cello along the way. What came out of that effort is a beautiful film called Strangers on the Earth.
Strangers on the Earth has now played all over the world at Film Festivals, in theaters, on airplanes, in schools and churches. It has been featured in the New York Times, the LA Times, on BBC Radio, and El Mundo, as well as numerous smaller publications. These milestones have contributed to what continues to be an incredible journey, one that I never imagined would garner such success and public interest.
Thank you for adding your voice to the body of people who have supported this effort, cheered us on, and helped us make this crazy dream a reality. We could not have accomplished this without the incredible support of so many.
If you are interested to see the film, or if you are already a fan and would like to have your own copy, the film is now available for purchase on DVD here. If you feel so inspired, please share this link with family and friends. Thank you again for your support and for believing in this idea.
